MESPAS recognizes the importance of your privacy. As part of normal operations, we collect and, in some cases, disclose information about you. This privacy policy is meant to inform MESPAS users about what information we collect and how we treat this information. By using our services, you agree to the terms of our privacy policy. All references in this privacy policy to “we,” “us,” or “our” refer to MESPAS and its subsidiaries. All references in this privacy policy to “you” or “your” refer to the users of our services.

Based on Article 13 of the Federal Constitution of the Swiss Confederation and the Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP), every person has a claim to the protection of their privacy as well as to protection against abuse of their personal data. We comply with those regulations. Furthermore, we comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of the EU. The protection of your data is very important to us and we give priority to protect and keep it confidential. All of your data will be processed fairly and proportionately. The privacy policy is only valid for the software MESPAS provides. Insofar as external links provide access to different websites we refer to their policies. We do not guarantee their data protection.


Information Collection and Use

MESPAS may collect and ask you for personally identifiable information when you visit or use our website or portals, including your full name, company address, telephone number, e-mail address, a password, and other identifying information. We may also receive personally identifiable information about you from our business partners. We also automatically receive and record information on our server logs from your browser including your IP address, cookie information, and the page you requested. Disclosure of Personal Data

Personal data will only be disclosed to third parties if a ship manager wishes to send your company a request or place an order. If it is required by law or for prosecution, MESPAS will adhere to Swiss law.

MESPAS website and portals have reasonable security measures to protect the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information under our control. Presently, the website and portals utilize Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption technology for all transmissions.


Changes to the Terms

We reserve the right, at any time, to modify, alter, or update the terms and conditions of this privacy policy without prior notice. Modifications shall become effective immediately upon being posted on our website and portals. Therefore, we encourage you to check our privacy policy on a regular basis.Your continued use of the website and portals after modifications are posted constitutes an acknowledgement and acceptance of the privacy policy and its modifications.


Reject MESPAS Privacy Policy

You can choose to reject this privacy policy:
a) as a new user by selecting the reject button in the registration process
b) as an existing user by asking your MESPAS administrator to delete you as a user

Further, you can contact MESPAS at gdpr@mespas.com and ask for the removal of all your personal data. If you are the only user of your company, your company will be deleted.
